Very few current new School artists can tackle Holy Ten's calibre. Holy Ten is a fast rising Zimbabwean Hip-hop emcee who offers a lot of social commentary in his music, owing his exponential rise to "Ndarememrwa" an offering that gained relevance amidst Zimbabwe Lives Matter online protests against socio-economic issues Zimbabwe is facing.
In yester-year Zimbabwe had not been so receptive to the confrontational and revolutionary approach of Hip-hop. Holy Ten has like many others in Zim Hip-hop always written down his observations and put them on wax. Zimbabwe has a penchant for relatable penmanship when it speaks to the needs of the day.
Holy Ten strikes a balance by using catchy flows to air messages that will help ignite conversations on what he is talking about.
He has not been immune to criticism either. On the run up to the album he was met with flack after using the word "mvana" which certain groups insisted was inappropriate. The rising King has however approached criticism in a professional way and has made up for alleged flaws in other songs.
Stimulating conversations on how the girl child has been objectified, airing his social political views and also airing his pleasures.
